As of January 1, Ray Graham became the CEO and President of American Packaging of American Packaging Corporation (APC), a player in flexible packaging solutions. This is part of the leadership transition plan announced in December 2023, which included the retirement of former CEO Jeff Koch by the end of 2024 and his appointment to the APC board of directors.

Since January 1, 2024, Ray has also been promoted to President, with the announced intention to become CEO starting this year.

Ray joined American Packaging in 2002, leading APC’s Flexographic Printing & Laminating Center of Excellence in Story City, Iowa, overseeing operations and P&L for business units. He was promoted to Vice President of Operations, responsible for all APC centers of excellence and associated P&Ls. He completed a series of plant expansions and upgrades, two new greenfield sites, and an unprecedented list of investments in capital equipment and capacity. Ray was promoted to EVP and COO in 2022, adding a third greenfield site and further investments in world-class capital equipment, while also taking responsibility for Sales, Marketing, Technology, Human Resources, IT, Operations, and other functional areas.
